About EGOV7


During recent years, the combined and synergistic forces of social, mobile, big data, and cloud technologies have worked together to offer new ways to permanently improve how governments serve and interact with the needs and expectations of the public. Also, these trends were detrimental in enabling collaboration among government entities, nonprofit organizations, private-sector companies, and the public. The smart government uses this collaboration to help integrate and improve previously distinct processes, systems, and policy domains. The smart government takes full advantage of the information technology trends to improve government services in ways that are quick, measurable, affordable, and sustainable. Various trends are driving smart government programs to allow generating sustainable public value.

EGOV7 Proceedings

EGOV7 will feature a new activity that adds two specialized workshops to the general Forum that EGOV participants used to in the past six years.

Smart Government Trends

With the introduction and proliferation of the limitless capabilities of new technological phenomena such as artificial (AI) intelligence, edge computing, and IoT, the concepts of smart government are extended to new frontiers enabling even broader serviceability, efficiency, and diversity. NoufEXPO is organizing the “7th eGovernment Forum” to boost and revolutionize the Smart Government initiative in Kuwait for years to come.  EGOV7 is held under the motto of “Smart Government Trends.” It will shed light on the most influential technology phenomena that are supporting smart government initiatives globally, namely the Cloud, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Mobility. The event will also focus on planning and development efforts that government agencies should implement to make the best use of supporting technologies such as strategies, governance, DevOps, and building expertise.

Strategies Follow-Up and Performance Management Workshop


Workshop Overview

This workshop is designed for the top and middle management who are involved in formulating, implementing and evaluating their organization’s strategy. The workshop focuses on the challenges of identifying objectives, setting key performance indicators (KPIs), setting targets & actual measures, and cascading them to all levels of the organization. Strategy monitoring and tracking take considerable attention in this workshop to help the Strategy Management Office evaluating the strategy performance as it progresses, and help taking corrective actions whenever needed.
Practical knowledge is passed to attendees through real-life examples, exercises, and a comprehensive case study.

For the fourth year during the opening ceremony of the eGovernment Forum, the e-Services Excellence Award will be provided to the government agency that has deployed the best e-Service on Kuwait Government Online www.e.gov.kw, the official eGovernment portal of the State of Kuwait.
